Riverworks Development Corporation is a community-focused nonprofit based in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood. Our mission is to empower low- and moderate-income individuals by providing the training and support services they need to achieve self-sufficiency. Through strong partnerships and creative programs, we work to strengthen our community and create lasting opportunities for all.
MISSION: Riverworks Development Corporation (RDC) drives social and economic development by aligning residents and businesses with specialized resources that strengthen Harambee, Riverwest and surrounding communities.

Company History
Riverworks Development Corporation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization established in 1992 in response to the closure of the American Motors Corporation plant in Milwaukee’s northeast industrial corridor. The organization focuses on business and housing development within the 53212 zip code. Additionally, Riverworks is deeply involved in training and placing Milwaukee residents into jobs, while offering financial coaching and benefits support.
